Seoul-based producer and DJ duo Salamanda (Uman Therma and Yetsuby) share new single “Overdose,” their first release with NYC label Human Pitch and follow up to 2021’s Sphere via Métron Records. “Overdose” brims and bubbles over with fecundity like a life-giving spring. Salamanda’s vocals float languidly in the first half of the song, gently slipping past synth warbles that flit by like iridescent minnows. Halfway through, Uman and Yetsuby’s intonations burst through the surface for an ecstatic breath, reaching a cathartic plateau.
